KARACHI: TikTok has published its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the first quarter of 2025, reaffirming its dedication to maintaining a secure online environment for users.
The report, covering January to March 2025, reveals that 24.95 million videos were taken down in Pakistan for violating platform policies. The platform demonstrated a 99.4% proactive removal rate, with 95.8% of these videos being removed within 24 hours of posting.
On a global scale, TikTok removed 211 million videos during this period—accounting for 0.9% of all uploaded content. Notably, 30.1% of the removed videos featured sensitive or adult themes that breached TikTok’s community guidelines.
The findings highlight TikTok’s continued efforts to enforce strict content moderation, ensuring a safer experience for its global user base.
