ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and China have reinforced their unwavering strategic partnership during Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir’s high-profile meetings with Chinese political and military leaders in Beijing on Friday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the visit highlighted the strengthening political and military ties between the two nations, emphasizing their joint commitment to regional peace and stability.
Strengthening Diplomatic & Economic Ties
During discussions with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, key topics included:
- The evolving global and regional political scenario
- Progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)
- Coordinated strategies to address shared geopolitical challenges
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the depth of bilateral cooperation, reaffirming their dedication to sovereign equality, multilateral engagement, and long-term stability in the region.
